Digital CtD goodness

After spending last night reglueing the pages of my Changeling Second Edition book to the spine (for the second time!), I broke down and got the E-book from DriveThruRPG.com.

To paraphrase the hubby, "It was easier than getting a second book."

Now I can print up the parts I need, and dispense with the rest. Hopefully it'll save some weight in the Gaming Backpack of Holding.

The only bad experience I had with them was when I bought The Shadow Player's Guide for Wraith. I had forgotten that it is white words on black background for most of the text, and I have to enlage to 300% to read the damn thing, and even then I get eyestrain. I can't cut-and-paste either since the white text didn't OCR.

Otherwise I think it's a great idea for (legal) digital delivery of out of print and new gamebooks.

In other news...
... I'd like to talk to you privately about perhaps re-introducing Edeyn back into the Emerald Shadows game soon -- I'd like it very much if we could talk on the phone, as I communicate things better in voice -- but if it's not possible, it's not. If it is, then let me know to call you and toss number by email or you call me ( http://delayra.livejournal.com/80002.html )
