The "splats" in Lost seem to be more balanced.

Much as I used to love Dreaming, some of the splats in there don't seem to have been thought through that well.

The Numuzo'ho Nunnehi, for example, do not suffer from the kith Frailty until they reach Grumpdom. Until then, they enjoy the benefits of their Birthrights free of charge, as it were. Under the original TT rules, the Spriggan Thallain just like to kidnap children. Yes, that's it. I could see if they needed to spend a WP point to avoid kidnapping a kid, but as written...it doesn't seem to be that much of a Frailty. And what if you wanted to play a childling troll? Their extra strength and wound levels aren't available until they become wilders.

In contrast, the Blessings and Curses of each Seeming in Lost affect all members of the Seeming equally. Of course, they also got rid of the age-based Seemings, which was another good move, IMO. I don't know about anyone else, but I was really tired of the "Let's stay young and innocent (read, immature) forever," vibe that seemed to permeate Dreaming.
