Driving Dr. Jones

So, I picked up Lego Indiana Jones for the Wii yesterday.

I'm still trying to get the hang of using the Nunchuck - I got used to games that just use the Wii remote (like Sports & WiiPlay). So far, Indy's fallen off cliffs, been swept over falls, and been eaten by crocodiles. I must have lost at least four lives in my first try at the game.

Then lostsatyr started helping me, with mixed results. I think I do better doing things by myself at first, because having him telling me what to do ("Now jump! No, don't go that way! Don't fall off the edge!") while I was trying to figure out how to drive got distracting.

The second time around, though, I got a little better. I think I just need to practice and it'll work.

We also got another Nunchuck so we can play Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution (lostsatyr's purchase) together. With any luck, I'll get better at using the Nunchuck by then.

Did they provide a tutorial level or a useful instruction manual at least?

I think they both assume you've played the Lego games before, and I haven't. :/

Ah well, as the hubby said this afternoon, I should get plenty of replay value just learning how to play the game. :)
