The Dresden Files RPG rocks my socks!

The hubby and I started running a tabletop Dresden Files RPG game on Saturdays, and so far I'm loving the FATE system to pieces.

Aspects are wonderful - in the past, I had to guess at what might motivate the PCs to get involved in the adventure, but now all I need to do is look at their Aspects and figure out how to tie them into the plot ("Let's see...this character has Perpetually Broke - maybe someone involved with the plot can offer him a job.") So much easier!

I'm also loving the Fate Points - they're a lot easier for someone like me to get than Drama Points in Buffy - I had a hard time coming up with witty one-liners ("Quotable Quotes"), for example, but I have no problem "self-compelling" my character's Aspects.

This system is so much fun to run and play! The folks who designed it deserve many warm fuzzies and hugs!

Wish I could join in!

Mind you, I'd want to play a janitor, but I'm strange like that.

I'm still tweaking the character sheet for my one-shot, but the Aspects we'll work on together.
