How interesting am I?

LJ Interests meme results

  1. brujah:
The rebellious clan of Vampire: The Masquerade. One of my more favorite characters, Sonja Morgan, was a Brujah ex-cop.
  2. changeling: the dreaming:
One of my all-time favorite RPGs. You play one of the faerie folk reborn into a human body in the modern era, and try to keep creativity and hope alive in an increasingly drab and mundane world. I've played and GMed this game since it came out, and I still love it.
  3. deliria:
A nifty game (though with a pretty horrendous system, at least in the edition I played) about humans who enter the world of faerie tales and have adventures therein.
  4. dungeons and dragons:
The great-grandpappy of roleplaying games, still going strong today.
  5. fae:
Possibly an outgrowth of my interest in elves and Changeling, but the Fair Folk are endlessly fascinating. There's just something about those ageless, mysterious, powerful beings that speaks to me on a number of levels.
  6. hero games:
They make Champions, one of my all-time favorite game systems, and have *the* most flexible and powerful game engine I've ever seen, bar none.
  7. kindred of the east:
The "Kuei-jin," the Eastern vampires. Possibly due to my Japanese ancestry, I'm very intrigued by these beings, and would *love* to play one. They're particularly attractive to me because they can rise above their flawed state, unlike the western vampires, who are caught in a downward spiral toward total bestiality.
  8. pvp:
A very funny webcomic that I got hooked on through the printed issues published by Dork Storm Press(?). I'm quite fond of a number of characters, therein, especially Jade Fontaine, who gave me my sig file - "I am Woman, see me game. You and I are much the same...."
  9. sidhe:
My favorite kith to play in Changeling.
  10. vampire: the masquerade:
The game that I cut my GMing teeth on (pun intended). This was White Wolf Games' flagship title for quite a while, and introduced me to roleplaying in earnest. The very first game I ran was a VtM game called D.C. After Dark, set in (you guessed it) Washington, D.C.

Have you seen the Compact Patch for Deliria? It's available on their web site (which is back up after their hosting troubles, and about to be massively redesigned, partly by me). It changes some rules and clarifies a lot of others.

Cool list of games :)
Ever try GURPS or BESM? I highly recommend them.

Hullo there.
I found your journal on random, and I just wanted to say that I LOVE PVP!
It's friggin' hilarious.
Also, I <33333 White Wolf games.
So far I've only actually played Werewolf (I was a Homid Child of Gaia Theurge..what a geek I am. ;) ) but I've read most of the other basebooks.
Changeling, Vampire, Mage, Demon, Mummy, ad nauseum.

Uhm..wow..this comment ended up being longer than I thought it would be.
Heh.
Anyways, so...I was thinking of friending you, because I love to rp prolly as you do. What do you think?
