Bloody Control-Freak GMs

Inspired in part by this entry in lostsatyr's LJ.

I was relieved about leaving this game. Now I have more reason to be that way -- I won't have to deal with the GM of it any more.

Honestly, you'd think someone who ran games would be more of a people person. Guess not (he's stated that "[his] own marriage is a mystery to [him]..."). *sighs*

I guess if you were OK with RPing in a live book written solely by the GM that gets censored a lot, you might like this GM's games. Unfortunately, I'm not too keen on being railroaded, or being told that my character is "acting out of character" when s/he does something the GM doesn't like (huh? Excuse me? How does he know my PC's out of character when it's my character in the first place? That's right, my character, not his, but I'm beginning to think this GM secretly believes that all the characters are his; after all, it's his game).

I am never playing in one of this man's games again. Someone whack me upside the head if I even consider it. Bloody Technocrat (Mage: The Ascension reference).
