State of the Game

I think I will hold off on starting up Werewolf until January. That way, I'm assuming im_a_woman could play if she wanted (I seem to remember her saying something about liking WtA....;).

If HERO runs its course before then, lostsatyr and I were figuring that there are always card games, or one-shots or short story arcs of RPGs (we're considering a short BtVS story arc if HERO runs its course earlier than anticipated).

I start the new job the first week of October, so I'll try and use the intervening time to prep some more adventures for HERO.

Once HERO wraps up in the next few sessions I will only have time for tarbis' MtA game. I work every single day of the week and I'm slowly getting more and more hours (like 1.5 hours on Wednesdays just today) because we are extremely short handed. I have so much work and reading to do for my courses this semester, too. I really need my weekends to catch up on reading, assignments, and rest.

After the New Year begins and I've come back from Missouri I most likely will be able to handle all-day gaming on Saturdays.

Hm - looks like a number of people are going to be busy. Good thing I've decided to hold off on WtA.

If the one session ends up being just me, lostsatyr and tarbis, maybe I'll just bring card games. :)

As far as wrapping HERO goes - how long do I have? If the answer is, "Not long," I'll stick to the "A" plots and scratch the "B" ones (to use the TV terms).

I was under the assumption that you were wrapping up HERO soon. You said you were going to finish the current plot in the next few sessions. I thought that was going to be it.

If you still plan on running it through until the end of the year, don't let me stop you. The next few sessions I'm sure I can handle, but mid-October and after that there are no guarantees. Adding a PT job to an already FT job and FT school is going to leave me stretched very thin.

I was just reiterating the point about possibly having to cop-out on a few sessions this fall because of my schedule. It's a little better with not having to work the PT job every weekend, but it's just not enough.

I was going on the assumption that the remaining length of the game will depend on what the characters do. If we end up going off on a tangent (which seems to happen more often than not with my games), things could take longer to wrap up. :)

I'll run with what I have and see how long it takes. It may only take a few sessions, but then again, it may take more. There's no way to tell at this point.
