Question for my TT WtA players

To the folks interested in playing in my upcoming tabletop Werewolf game -

Do we want to devote the first session to character creation and the "20 Questions" version of Preludes? It seems like a good idea to me, especially since we may have some new players (as I'm pretty sure ambrose_rinaldo's schedule next year will prevent him playing first session - *sighs*), and that might cut down on having duplicate characters and the like (e.g., one GoF Ahroun - fine. Four of them - no thanks. :).

Let me know what you think.

I'm fine with that - though obviously I've already created my character and you've gotten a chance to see him in action. But it might also be good so they can find out about my character too.

Four or five Get Ahrouns would be interesting at least. Bets could be placed on how long before challenges and frenzies turned them into a big pile of formerly living garou parts. I figure twenty minutes game time tops.

No, seriously during first session for character generation sounds fine to me.

Has recruitment started yet?

Got a notice posted on the SaRPA mailing list yester-eve. We'll see.

rosenightblade had expressed interest in joining during Minicon, though I don't know if that's still the case.

*pouty face*

My schedule is bittersweet to me. I have Thursdays off, I got the classes that I wanted, I got the teachers that I wanted, and I start on my research credit - yAy for me. My research hours are in the evening on my day off and Saturdays stretching from late-mid morning to the afternoon. Granted, those are flexible because we might get done early or our parent groups won't show up or they might reschedule, but that's not a guarantee.

I'd love to play first session WtA, but I've got to start my research credits now to get them in by the time I graduate. I'll try to sit in every once in awhile because I'm sure I'll have the time, but you've gotta do what you've gotta do.

Don't worry about the research - Real Life is more important than any game. :)

Though if you wanted, you could try making up a Kin character to "cameo" with when you could sit in (I'd be happy to lend you Kinfolk: Unsung Heroes).

I'm hoping this game will last over the summer (*crosses fingers*), so maybe you'll be able to play then.
