UBCon XX was last weekend (April 17, 18 and 19).

I had fun - I got to run a Changeling: The Lost game that was enjoyed by all, saw (and gamed with) some people I haven't seen in a while, and picked up some cool stuff in the dealers room.

ramius_rathorne stayed with me and lostsatyr, so we had fun hanging out with him and introducing him to a number of local eateries - Jasmine Thai, Moti Mahal and Bollywood Cafe (the Indian takeout place on SUNY Buffalo's campus). We also played a lot of Soulcalibur IV on the 360 on Thursday and pre-con on Friday.

Friday, I ran my Changeling: The Lost game. It was great fun, especially since ramius_rathorne, eseme and justric played. I don't often get to game with them and they're all terrific players, so that was a bonus. I also managed to snag the only copy of Dancers In the Dusk (the latest CtL supplement) that was in the dealers room, so that was another bonus (and thanks go to tarbis for finding it for me - the dealer had mistakenly shelved it with the Awakening< supplements).

On Saturday, I ran Dark Ages: Werewolf. It was OK, but I had the misfortune of getting a couple of players who thought they could "break" my game - and told me so. As if - ramius_rathorne, lostsatyr and I ran rings around them! *eg* Maybe next time, they'll think better of boasting about their prowess before the game even starts.

On the other hand, on Saturday night, I got to play in justric's CtL game. I continue to be amazed by his creativity - he deserves all the accolades he gets. The game was made even better by getting to play with eseme, ramius_rathorne, meepeek and kotikokura.

On Sunday, I ran my usual Chez Geek event, and the prize went to im_a_woman - go her! We went out to lunch with her, tarbis and ramius_rathorne after the morning slot, which was fun since we got to do some chit-chatting and productive venting. :) We got back in time to discover that lostsatyr had won a UBCon XX bag and ramius_rathorne, a werewolf sculpture from Chenille Macabre, in the UBCon Chinese Auction. Then lostsatyr and I took in some anime (Nerima Daikon Brothers - it was very funny!) while ramius_rathorne played Amputheatre. We met up with him the dealers room a little later, where I picked up some zombie T-shirts and a kitty-cat Bag That Bites (after having been eying it all weekend). Once the con was over, we went back to the house with ramius_rathorne for a few more rouncds of Soulcalibur IV and then dinner.

All in all, a fun con. I'm a little sorry it's over.

So am I. (Sad that it is over)

It was a great con. I got to play in three different Changeling : The Lost games, which totally rocked. And justric's games very much lived up to their reputation, as did yours. I was not surprised to find all the games had filled up in pre-reg (although we lost many players due to the basement location debacle).

Buffalo is a great place to game, and the con has so many fun people at it.

I really didn't know my games had a reputation, but hey, as long as everyone had a good time! Thank you for playing along!

THANK YOU! As Director of Media I am really glad to hear that you enjoyed con so much. The entire con staff and myself worked really hard to bring everyone a great con. :)

Glad you enjoyed the game! I know I certainly had a blast playing Red Ulrich!
