I'm also printing out copies of the Scion demo to give to all the players. I'm pretty close to finishing up with the printing; then they just have to punched and bound (have I mentioned I love my binding machine?).
At least this way I won't be running around like a chicken with its head cut off in the week before con.
I only wish more of the people I wanted to see were able to make it, though....

I wish I could go. But I had to pick one con. And UBCon claimed it would have a super cool guest. There has been no announcement of such, and the UBCon website is currently a placeholder graphic. SimCon is not doing a lot better - no event lists, but their main site was updated January 15 with a message that the site was being completely revamped, and that we can set up user accounts. It also have event submission forms, and info for dealers. When I added in our less than great experience at UBCon last year, SimCon won out.
I'm hoping 2012 will be better for attending cons, and that I will not have to choose one.
*sighs*
UBCon has the best GMs of any con I've gone to. The staff these past couple of years has not impressed me.
Now, granted, I did help run it in 2007 (superhero theme). I thought that con went well (we did not announce any huge guest we could not get). We also had advertising.

I'm truly looking forward to UBCon this year. The historical Changeling game and the steampunk game I ran last year weren't as satisfying as I had hoped. But I actually got some player feedback from last year, and so, from using that, I think the World War 1 Changeling game should go over fairly well. I just have to do something silly, like, say, finish putting together.
No posts from staff since September. That's a bad sign.
Are you Justric? I definitely remember the Steampunk game. I believe I ended it all with an extremely overpowered gun. It was a neat concept for a game, and I did enjoy it.
I'm hoping 2012 for my next UBCon. I have friends getting married in Rochester in May, and I simply cannot make one trip a month to Rochester from Maine for three months in a row. I had to pick one con, and UBCon's lack of organization left me picking something else.
I am a fan of the GMs at UBCon, for sure, and hope to attend again in future.
2012 or bust!
The Changeling Characters are just about done, and the swag is set aside. I just have to finish NPCs and badies. Two months should be enough, right?
